Mission
Autodiscovery’s mission is to create Artificial General Intelligence that has the capacity to discover by itself. We follow 3+1 rules on how we think we might succeed. This long term endeavour needs to be sustainable by profitable applications.
RULE 1: There is no mind without body.
Intelligence can only be developed in the real world. Real sensors, physical body way to observe and interact with the world. Simulations often easy to cheat and while a useful tool will not enable us to create general intelligence.
RULE 2: Intelligence is in the eye of the observer.
The only way to assess intelligence is observation. Successful completion of tasks set despite varying circumstances and the ability to improve over time are characteristics of intelligence.
RULE 3: Never lose curiosity.
The only way to create intelligence is to create a system that is able to learn. Just this is not enough the system needs to actively seek opportunity to learn.
+1 Nothing great has ever been achieved in isolation.
In robots we apply this to software where a set of simple “non-intelligent” rules can create ultimately complex intelligent behaviour.
